Split

Split is a city in the Croatian region of Dalmatia, on the eastern shores of the Adriatic Sea, centred on the structure of the ancient Roman Palace of the Emperor Diocletian and its bay and port. With a population of 178,192 citizens and a metropolitan area numbering up to 350,000, Split is by far the largest Dalmatian city and the second-largest city of Croatia.
Spread over a central peninsula and its surroundings, Split’s greater area includes the neighboring seaside towns as well.

Diocletian’s Palace is a palace in the city of Split, that was built by the Roman emperor Diocletian at the turn of the fourth century AD.

Diocletian built the massive palace in preparation for his retirement on 1 May 305 AD. It lies in a bay on the south side of a short peninsula running out from the Dalmatian coast, four miles from Salona, the capital of the Roman province of Dalmatia. The terrain slopes gently seaward and is typical karst, consisting of low limestone ridges running east to west with marl in the clefts between them.

The venue is rented for events only, it’s located right on the sea and it is suitable for both ceremony and dinner.

The venue hire cost is 3750 Euros.

You can have music there till 3 am and usually we bring our own catering, which gives us a wide selection. We can personalise the menu based on your budget, wishes and preferences. Usually all meals, alcohol, cake are included in the price. Extra Lights or Lanterns are highly advised.

HOTEL SAN ANTONIO
Hotel San Antonio is situated directly on the beach of a city called Podstrana, which is only 8 km away from Split city center, and Diokletian’s Palace (under UNESCO’s protection). To all our guests, we provide free parking spot, wireless Internet, and beach chairs on our beautiful pebble beach for free. Also, every guest can use sauna and small fitness area which are situated on the top of the main building.

Hotel has one main building, where all deluxe rooms are situated, and one annex building, named “Gala”, where all classic rooms are situated, and annex building named “Jona” where all standard rooms are situated. All room types are with air condition. Deluxe rooms are all with balcony and sea view, while every standard room is with partial sea view, and some of the classic rooms are also with partial sea view.

Astonishing location of the hotel’s restaurant, directly on the beach, makes a simple breakfast special, and while you enjoy using the buffet enriched with various dishes, you can listen to the sound of the waves, and taste Dalmatia. Later on, you can choose between authentic dishes and Croatian vines, weather it is a lunch, or a dinner.

Various beverages and cocktails are served inside the bar, on hotel’s terrace or even on the beach. Enjoy!
